Quick and easy bacon cheeseburger sliders made with Angus beef patties, multiple cheeses, and peppered bacon, all served on Hawaiian rolls and topped with a savory homemade burger sauce.
For the Burger Patties:
1. Season 12 ground Angus beef slider patties on each side with your preferred salt, pepper, and garlic blend.
2. Cook the seasoned patties in 1-2 tablespoons of butter until browned and cooked through, then drain them on a paper towel.
For the Bacon:
1. Add ground black pepper to both sides of 8 pieces of bacon, pressing the pepper into the bacon.
2. Cook the bacon on a wire rack set over a baking sheet in an oven preheated to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190°C) for 20 minutes. Flip the bacon at the 15-minute mark.
3. Once cooked and crispy, cut the bacon into small pieces.
For the Burger Sauce:
1. In a small bowl, combine 4-5 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 3 tablespoons of French dressing, 1 tablespoon of white vinegar, 2-3 teaspoons of sweet relish, 1-2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon of pepper, and 1-2 tablespoons of ketchup.
2. Add onion powder, salt, and garlic powder to taste. Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
To Assemble the Sliders:
1. Open 12 slider buns.
2. Place 6 slices of baby Swiss cheese on the bottom half of the slider buns.
3. Add the cooked beef patties on top of the Swiss cheese.
4. Layer with 6 slices of cheddar cheese, followed by the chopped peppered bacon, and finally 6 more slices of baby Swiss cheese.
5. Place the top half of the slider buns on top.
6. Brush the tops of the assembled sliders with melted garlic butter.
Bake:
1. Place the sliders in an oven preheated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175°C) for 10-12 minutes, covered, or until the cheese is completely melted. Baking time may vary depending on your oven.
2. Serve the warm sliders with the prepared burger sauce on the side.
